It is with great sadness to announce that Dave Andews passed away on 2nd January. Many at the club didn’t know Dave as he left the club in 2004. Dave was our first chairman when we reformed in mid 2002 and through his company Forwarding Partners gave the club a sound foundation which we all benefit from today. Dave leaves wife Jenny who was club secretary, daughter Becky, son Jacob and two step sons Tom and Jimbo (as he was known at the club). Jake, Tom and James all rode for the Eagles with Jimbo a member of the British under 10’s team that finished 3rd in 2003.
There will be a Dave Andrews memorial meeting held on March 11th. All the top juniors and all the top seniors have been invited. Juniors start at 3pm with senior starting at 5pm
