Congratulations to Great Britain’s Ladies Team containing Ipswich’s very own Laura Dale, for pulling off a two match series win against Poland on their recent inaugural GB International Test match Tour to Poland.
Having won 51-88 on Monday, the ladies wrapped up the series with an even more convincing 57-92 win yesterday. Laura, who has recently undergone eye surgery, scored 9 and 8 points respectively to help secure those victories for the ladies.
Captained by Sheffield’s Vicky Brown, the Team set about showing their Polish counterpart’s how far Women’s Team riding has come in Britain thanks in no small part to Vicky’s Dad, Ian Brown, and Ipswich’s Club President Ivan Pike organising and spearheading the British Woman and Girls League as those who were in attendance at Ipswich for Rd 2 this year can testify.
