Ipswich second string took another giant step to securing back to back titles with a powerful display of team riding and keeping their unbeaten run intact. It’s two half seasons since they tasted defeat and in truth never looked in danger of dropping points today against a team unusually younger themselves. Barry Copping returned to form with back up of team mate Charlie Rumbold, only a tape exclusion denied him of a maximum. Another rider to have a good meeting was Lauren Jacobs still proving what a great season she is having and enjoying her racing.

Ipswich need one more win to see the title remain at Ipswich and with East London and Kesgrave away it would take a bettting man to bet against them doing this – but this a proud young team and they will want to remain unbeaten .
