Ipswich ‘s SE2  team brought the curtain down for the season for the Ipswich club and in doing so also clinched the SE2 title for a third time in a row. Accumulating 111 points on the night took their points to over 1200 points scored for the season ,meaning an average of a 100 points scored in every single match this season .

On a cold night the Blakenham side were no match for the reigning champions and with a depleted side their task was even harder than before ,as for the Ipswich starting line up they were able to rest some of their squad in the knowledge that they still had enough to see the job through . Ipswich went on to record sixteen heat advantage’s with only the first heat not being a 7-3 ,with Ray Pyke managing to split the Ipswich riders .

It’s been a fantastic season again for the Suffolk club winning all three divisions for a second time in a row with every rider contributing through out the season ,especially the SE2 which was tight all season with three or four clubs well in the hunt for the title. Congratulations to all clubs for making it the best season for a long time .
