The Eagles Go-Ride Club Championship is hotting up as it reaches the halfway stage for 2013. The Championship is arranged as age groups, but let’s compare the overall scores out of interest.

Leading the pack with a storming 100 points off 4 meetings is U13 Pierce Bacon. Family pairs then make up the “over 75 points” chasing pack. Under 10s Ben Clarke (93pts) and Charlie Johnson (83 points) show Veteran dads Phil Clarke (88pts) and Ian Johnson (78pts) the way to ride while Ashley (Senior) and Gemma (U10) Hill take 4th and 7th on 83 and 76 points.

No-one can rest easy. Three riders are on 75 points off 3 meetings, and only Pierce can currently miss a meeting and expect to hold his place. So with four meetings left in 2013, it’s still all to race for.
