We wish Team Manager Bryan Harvey and the Eagles Under 16 Team all the best for this Saturday (26th July) as they make their way to Midlands Club East Park, Wolverhampton for the British U16 Club Championship Finals event. The Eagles are drawn in the second Semi-Final 1pm start against Hosts East Park, Sheffield and Poole.
Ipswich Eagles are current Champions having retained back to back titles for the last two seasons, however, with the experienced and double winning backbone of last years Team (Richard Fellgett, Dan Knights and Matt Hill) all having moved up in age category the task ahead will not be easy.
But the continued progress of Ben Harvey and Pierce Bacon who’ve raced regularly in both SE1 and Elite Combination Leagues this year whilst also having been part of last years successful U16 team will no doubt help the new U16 team members of Harrison Bacon, Luke Dunningham and Troy Brumpton to settle in as the Eagles look to fight all the way to bring the title back to Suffolk to claim triple back to back victories as we look at the bigger picture of retaining the British Club Championship Title for the third year in a row. Share a thought for Ben’s younger brother Alex who misses out due to a recently sustained foot injury.
Enjoy the day and the surroundings as East Park, apart from being the biggest track in the country, is also in a very nice park setting amongst the trees and we’re sure that Al Bentley and his team will put on a great show.
!!!Come on you Eagles!!!
