Ipswich took a depleted team to Norfolk and came out on top after a battling performance against an determined Norwich, themselves were a couple of riders down ,which made for an entertaining match.
The Whirlwinds were always in control but knew they couldn’t take the Norfolk outfit for granted with the likes of Medler, Wenn and Colby carrying the fight to their Suffolk neighbours.
This result keeps the champions in the hunt to retain their crown with the battle likely to go right down to the wire. With news that Ipswich Eagles won at home to East London 110- 70, there’s only two points separating the top three. With the Eagles next match away to Hethersett and all three teams set to meet each other over the next coming weeks it will take a brave man to call where the title will end up in the tightest title race for years .
